Welcome to the Prenatal & Postpartum Yoga Teacher Training.
This first module is about orientation—helping you understand how the training flows, what’s expected of you, and how you can get the most out of this experience.
Training Structure
85-Hour Training - This training combines live sessions, recorded lectures, readings, practice teaching, and personal reflection. Your engagement in each component is what brings the material to life.
Live Sessions (8 x 2 hours each) - We’ll meet regularly to explore themes, practice together, and support each other. These sessions are interactive—come ready to move, reflect, and share.
Asynchronous Learning - Pre-recorded lectures, readings, and assignments allow you to move at your own pace. These materials give you time to digest and revisit concepts whenever you need.
Assignments & Integration
Essays & Reflection - Short written pieces help you integrate what you’re learning on both intellectual and personal levels.
Practice Teaching & Peer Feedback - You’ll have opportunities to teach in a safe container and receive constructive feedback from your peers. This is how confidence and skill grow.
Capstone Project - At the end, you’ll design and share a project that reflects your unique integration of the teachings—something you can carry directly into your teaching or professional practice.
Learning Environment
Sacred Space - We are not just learning “skills.” We are cultivating presence, compassion, and reverence for the pregnant and postpartum journey.
Whole-Person Learning - This training honors body, mind, energy, and spirit. Expect a blend of anatomy, somatics, philosophy, and ritual.
Community Support - You’ll learn not only from me, but from one another. The group itself is a source of wisdom, support, and reflection.

Participate actively in live sessions and community dialogue.
Dedicate time outside of class to readings, practice, and reflection.
Bring your own experience into the work—your background, your questions, your stories are all part of the fabric of this training.
