grounded birth prep for the
fiercest day of your life
Welcome to YFYB — where your journey into motherhood becomes a rite of power, not just a phase of life.
This is your space to prepare for birth and matrescence (the transition into motherhood) with a blend of yoga, science, ritual, and radical support.
My courses and circles will help you:
• Build strength and softness in your body
• Balance your hormones and nervous system
• Practice breathwork that actually prepares you for labor
• Cultivate trust in your body, your baby, and your instincts
• And reconnect with the spiritual, ancestral, or soulful guidance matters most to you
This isn’t just yoga. It’s a reclamation.
Of your rhythm. Your womb. Your power.

Hi! I’m Jess
I’m a wife and a mom of 3 boys - a 4 year old named Hunter and 2 year old twins, Ollie and Emmy. I’m from Maryland - just outside of Washington, D.C. But my family and I live in the Dominican Republic, my husband’s and sons’ motherland.
I’m a homebirth midwife practicing in the Dominican Republic as well as travel midwifery as needed. I’m also a certified yoga therapist with a master of science in clinical yoga therapy.
In addition to attending birth, I also support mothers and birthers in fertility and conception education and lifestyle support, I advocate for healthy pregnancy and teach birth preparation so that my clients feel prepared physically, mentally, and spiritually for birth and motherhood. I support the postpartum time with baby care education, breastfeeding support, and use the science of Ayurveda to support postpartum healing with nourishing services such as herbal baths, belly binding, vaginal steaming, abhyanga, and herbal infusions.

"When I first came to you, I was honestly terrified that something was seriously wrong with my body, I had been afraid to exercise and move for months.
More than anything, you have given me the confidence I needed to start moving again, and I am feeling so much better as a result."
