Holistic Childbirth Education

prepare your body and mind for an intuitive and connected birth experience

This prenatal program is for women want to understand the physiology of a natural birth.

It’s simple really… our bodies were made to give birth.

But somewhere along the way, we became socialized into cultural norms that suggest that our bodily connection and awareness is not valid or important.

This program is for women who are ready to both learn the physiology of birth and unlearn the cultural norms that scare us away from our nature.

Meet Jess!

First and foremost, Jess is a mother. A mother to 3 boys, including twins. She is also a homebirth midwife and clinical yoga therapist with over a decade of experience supporting women and birthing people through every stage of reproductive health. She specializes in physiological birth, pelvic biomechanics, fertility health, and integrative healing across the women’s health continuum.

Jess firmly believes in the power of women’s choices. She is a fierce advocate for women, believing that women are the sole arbiters of their birth experience. She works with every client to ensure that they are setting themselves up to have a birth that honors their values, respects their decision-making process, and upholds their dignity every step of the way.

What you’ll learn

This is not your standard birth class.
This program is designed to help you deeply understand birth physiology, feel prepared for the unexpected, and confidently navigate a holistic, motherbaby-centered birth in any setting.

Inside the program, you’ll get access to self-paced childbirth education plus live monthly masterclasses that go far beyond “just breathe through contractions.”

  • Learn the mechanics of pushing, how to work with your body instead of against it, and practical ways to reduce unnecessary perineal trauma. We’ll cover breathing, positioning, pelvic floor dynamics, coached vs. instinctive pushing, and what actually helps protect the perineum during birth.

  • Learn how to support healing after birth with evidence-based postpartum recovery practices for the pelvic floor, deep core, breath mechanics, posture, prolapse prevention, scar support, and safely returning to movement.

  • Discover labor and birth positions that support comfort, fetal positioning, progress, and effective pushing — whether you’re planning a homebirth, birth center birth, or hospital birth. Learn how movement changes labor and how to adapt positions if you have an epidural, long labor, back labor, or complications.

    • The stages and phases of labor

    • What’s normal in physiological birth

    • How hormones influence labor progression

    • Signs labor is starting

    • When to go to the hospital or call your midwife

    • Understanding induction and augmentation

    • Common interventions and how to make informed decisions

    • Epidurals, cesarean birth, and hospital procedures

    • Common complications in labor and birth

    • Partner support and advocacy

    • Immediate postpartum recovery and newborn transition

You’ll leave this course not just with information — but with practical tools, critical thinking skills, and a deeper understanding of how birth works so you can make grounded decisions for yourself and your baby.

  • A holistic approach to coping with labor pain using nervous system regulation, breathwork, movement, partner support, mindset, yoga-based tools, hydrotherapy, and understanding the physiology of labor itself — so you feel less afraid and more capable.

  • In this workbook, you will learn how to make a birth plan that allows for flexibility. You'll make 3 pathways of birth. Each pathway will require you to research and consider your own risk assessment as well as the tools available to you at your place of birth (including who is attending your birth).

    Who & Where

Many birthers automatically feel that the nearest hospital and their current gynecologist are the only options for their birth. In this section you'll explore other options that are available for you, what questions to ask your providers in order to confirm if they are the best provider for you, and prompts to consider where would be the best place for you to give birth.

    Putting it all together!

This workbook will guide you to put it all together! You'll choose from a few templates and plug in your birth plan. Once you're done, I highly recommend printing and laminating your birth plan!
